Sermons

The sermons on errolmiller.com covers a range. Some sermons are inspiring, other sermons focus on faith in God and still others explore issues that dig deeper into a well-known topic. For example, Counseling: A Long Personal Conversation explores the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well at Sychar. This is done from a different perspective than is commonly taken. Likewise, As the Father Hath Sent Me, Even So, Send I You takes the approach of Jesus giving His graduation address to His disciples at the end of their three-year course. A common feature that runs through Miller’s sermons is providing contexts for topics and taking a less than usual perspective.

Miller is Baptist, and has been a lay preacher for over fifty years and has preached hundreds of sermons. His preferred style is extemporaneous, sometimes from notes. He has also preached in countries in which he has lived for varying periods of time namely Barbados, Bahamas, Guyana and Jamaica. Most of his sermons come from personal meditation on the scriptures.

The sermons on this site are some of those that he preached since his retirement that were either recorded or written. As tapes or notes are retrieved, more sermons will be uploaded to the site as resources allow.
